The Animation Wiki was a collaborative resource to build and share knowledge about animation history, criticism, and film making. It covers all forms of animation from around the world, built by users. This is not a place to post information on characters, episodes, or shows.

It was being launched through a class project for animation courses at Middlebury College and Swarthmore College in the Fall 2007.

The whole wiki was moved to Cartoon Wiki and as such is where now all new articles should be submitted.
